An adaptation of the fairy tale about a monstrous-looking prince and a young woman who fall in love.

I connected with the beast primarily for the exact same reasons; and with Belle for being different. All this connecting allowed me to become vulnerable during the movie and feeling the entire sadness of this tale, which I never realized before.
I loved the music! Big, grand and showtuny!
Dan Stevens (The Beast) was hot without all the make up, though with the make up he was just as hot! I find Emma Watson very attractive. Gaston was kind of hot too. I loved that one scene shot of his “gun” during his musical performance, which did not seem very “Disney.”
Starring Michael Keaton, Mark Ruffalo, Rachel McAdams, Liev Schreiber, John Slattery, Brian d’Arcy James, Billy Crudup and Stanley Tucci, SPOTLIGHT tells the riveting true story behind the Pulitzer Prize-winning Boston Globe investigation that would rock the city and cause a crisis in one of the world’s oldest and most trusted institutions.
When the newspaper’s tenacious “Spotlight” team of reporters delves into allegations of abuse in the Catholic Church, their year-long investigation uncovers a decades-long cover-up at the highest levels of Boston’s religious, legal, and government establishment, touching off a wave of revelations around the world.

Another sad movie, but very informative and explosive. Required much attention, but the subject matter was fascinating, requiring less effort to stay engaged with the story.
Left me feeling sad that so much injustice and wrong-doing exists in our world. I lost my faith when I discovered I was homosexual and could not make my learned spirituality jive with my lifestyle. A friend of mine taught me how to seek a god of my understanding, and ever since, I am whole. The anonymous program taught me that spirituality is personal; that I need not be a sheep to be in line with a god of my understanding.
I thought Mark Ruffalo’s performance stood out from the rest of the cast and I now have a new crush on John Slattery. That man is a frikkin’ hottie! I am familiar with Liev Schreiber, Stanley Tucci and Billy Crudup, but for the life of me I could not place the names, especially with the make-up on Liev.
